Dreams

Are you a dreamer? Many people say they can’t remember their dreams, but for those of us who are dreamers, this couldn’t be further from the truth! I am a dreamer. My dreams are so vivid I have to be careful of the media I watch before I go to sleep! Despite the fact we all dream to some extent about the day’s events, a scary movie or show we’ve seen or just plain bizarre sequences as the mind de-stresses, the dream state is a powerful conduit for providing answers to questions, solutions to problems, clairvoyant messages, messages from the angels and visits with spirit loved ones. After a while and if you are a dreamer, you can quickly learn to tell the difference between a dream and a message.

I am fortunate enough that my daughter visits me when I request her presence (no surprise since she visited me for ten years prior to her birth)! Though I can’t control the timing of her visits and these are fewer and father between now, she’s always there when I need her. A couple of weeks ago and though I didn’t specifically ask for them, both my daughter and mom who died 2 years ago called on me in separate visits. I woke up briefly between each, but both of them looked fabulous and happy (this was the first visit from my mom) and their visits came at a time when I felt alone. This was a powerful reminder I am not!

You can ask your spirit loved ones to visit you anytime in your “dreams” as well as the angels to bring you guidance and solutions in a way you can decipher their messages when you awaken. Any information, symbols or images that stand out immediately upon waking are important. If you dream about something that feels highly impactful but doesn’t make sense, for example this could be an individual that has visited you that is unrecognizable but you sense is significant in your life, the relevance of the visit will be made clear down the road if you are receptive. This has happened to me on occasion and in fact, happened again recently. I was visited by someone very powerful but I don’t yet know who this is. If it’s a “stranger” that you remember in a dream, he or she will feel very familiar and you will sense the visit was of major importance. There will be no wavering from this thought. It could be you have had a glimpse of a person you will meet in the future, a visit from one of your guardian angels or spirit guides; it may have been a prophetic vision or you’ve just experienced a healing. Whatever it is, you will not forget the impact of the dream or the information shared. When you do connect the physical event to the “dream”, the impact will be profound.

If you are someone who doesn’t recall your dreams you can ask the angels to help you start remembering. Recording what you can recall will help you naturally start remembering more dreams (this takes a bit of effort, but it is worth it). While some of my dreams I could do without, in truth I have resolved many issues and challenges with the aid of a good dream book (my favourite is “The Dreamer’s Dictionary” by Lady Stearn Robinson & Tom Corbett). While I don’t always like what’s going on in my subconscious, dreams are an invaluable way of making sense of non-sense (thoughts that don’t matter) and connecting to the present in an invaluable way.
